Scaramucci’s New Role

SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci has joined a new Avalanche-focused digital asset treasury (DAT) project. The company, soon to be renamed Avax One, plans to raise $550 million to acquire more than $700 million worth of AVAX tokens. Scaramucci will chair its strategic advisory board.

From Farming to Finance

Avax One is the rebrand of AgriFORCE Growing Systems, a small-cap Nasdaq-listed company. Shares surged nearly 150% after the announcement, reflecting growing investor interest in token-based corporate strategies.

Avalanche as a Core Bet

Scaramucci called Avalanche one of the leading blockchain networks for tokenization. He highlighted its flexibility and growing adoption by large firms, including Apollo and J.P. Morgan. The company’s fundraising plans include $300 million through a private investment in public equity, with an additional $250 million targeted through equity-linked financing.

Big Names Behind It

Hivemind is leading the fundraising efforts, with support from more than 50 institutional and crypto-native investors, including ParaFi, Galaxy Digital, DCG, and Kraken. The project is modeled after Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin treasury approach, but applied to Avalanche.

Why It Matters

The move shows how the digital asset treasury trend is spreading beyond Bitcoin. With backing from a high-profile figure like Scaramucci, Avax One is positioning Avalanche as a key player in the next phase of tokenization.
