The move comes as Wall Street prepares for the first spot Dogecoin ETF.
Rapid Expansion of DOGE Holdings
CleanCore Solutions, recently transformed into a Dogecoin-focused treasury firm, has moved quickly to expand its holdings. After acquiring 285 million DOGE earlier this week, the Nasdaq-listed company announced Thursday it had surpassed 500 million DOGE, with plans to reach 1 billion within the next month.
CIO Marco Margiotta, who also heads the House of Doge initiative, said the company aims to secure as much as 5% of Dogecoin’s circulating supply. CleanCore sees DOGE as a future reserve asset capable of powering payments, tokenization, and remittance applications.
Market Reaction and Treasury Plans
The company is working closely with the House of Doge, a corporate arm of the Dogecoin Foundation, to establish what it calls the “official Dogecoin treasury.” Custody of the holdings is being handled by Bitstamp and Robinhood.
CleanCore’s stock (ZONE) rose 14% in after-hours trading before pulling back slightly. Its market capitalization is now around $55 million.
ETF on the Horizon
The timing coincides with growing anticipation for the REX-Osprey Dogecoin ETF, expected to begin trading within days. Bloomberg analysts say the ETF will provide mostly spot exposure to DOGE, with some flexibility to use derivatives.
DOGE itself rose nearly 5% to $0.25 following the news, with a market capitalization above $36 billion, keeping it among the top 10 cryptocurrencies.
