Optimism Airdrops 10.3 Million OP Tokens to Superchain Users

Layer 2 network Optimism has distributed 10.3 million OP tokens, worth approximately $16 million, to over 54,700 active user addresses within the Superchain ecosystem.

Eligibility Criteria and Token Distribution

The airdrop rewarded users who interacted with at least 20 contracts across Superchain blockchains like OP Mainnet, Base, and others from March to September 2024.

Additional Requirements for Increased Allocations

Bonus criteria included minimum OP token delegation and engagement across seven chains, enhancing rewards for highly active users in the ecosystem.

Optimism’s Ongoing Commitment to Community Growth
