A Unified Treasury System
Ripple has launched Ripple Treasury, a new corporate treasury platform that merges traditional cash management with blockchain-based digital asset infrastructure. The product integrates enterprise software from GTreasury, which Ripple acquired in October, into a single system for managing liquidity, payments, and reconciliation.
The platform is designed to reduce friction caused by fragmented treasury tools, slow settlement times, and limited transparency in cross-border payments.
Near-Instant Cross-Border Settlement
Ripple Treasury enables international settlements in as little as three to five seconds using Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin. This compares to traditional banking rails, where cross-border transfers often take multiple business days to complete.
Companies can manage both fiat and digital assets through a single interface, replacing spreadsheet-based processes with direct API connections that treat digital asset platforms as functional equivalents to banks.
Institutional Liquidity and Regulatory Expansion
Ripple plans to enable access to repo and short-term liquidity markets through prime broker Hidden Road, which it acquired last year. The platform is aimed at helping treasury teams deploy excess cash more efficiently without compromising compliance or reporting standards.
The launch follows Ripple’s expanding regulatory footprint, including approvals in the UK and Luxembourg, and its application for a U.S. national banking license. Ripple has said it remains focused on growth rather than pursuing an IPO.
