- Ripple received full MiCA authorization in Europe.
- The license allows services across 30 EEA countries.
- Ripple now holds more than 75 regulatory licenses globally.
- The approval follows MiCA's full implementation.
Ripple has received full authorization under the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework, allowing the company to offer regulated crypto services across all 30 countries in the European Economic Area.
The approval was granted by Luxembourg's financial regulator following Ripple's preliminary authorization last month and completes the firm's transition into the new European regulatory regime.
The license enables Ripple to expand its crypto payments infrastructure for financial institutions and businesses throughout the region under a single regulatory framework.
Ripple now holds more than 75 regulatory licenses worldwide and joins other major crypto firms that have secured MiCA approval as Europe moves toward a unified digital asset market.
The authorization comes shortly after MiCA officially replaced the patchwork of national crypto licensing systems across the European Union.
