Major Treasury Milestone

Nasdaq-listed DeFi Development (DFDV) has acquired another 196,141 SOL, raising its total holdings above 2 million SOL valued at $409 million. The firm said all tokens are staked to generate yield.

Company Strategy

Adopting a Solana treasury model in April, the company not only accumulates SOL but also runs validator infrastructure. This dual approach lets it earn fees while supporting the Solana network.

Expansion and Market Impact

The firm, formerly Janover, has plans to launch five more treasury vehicles and recently expanded to the UK. Despite its growth, DFDV shares fell 7.6% on Thursday as Nasdaq regulators increased scrutiny on firms raising funds to buy crypto.
