Strong Launch for New XRP ETFs
Two new U.S. spot XRP ETFs from Grayscale and Franklin Templeton saw impressive uptake on their first trading day. Grayscale’s GXRP attracted $67.4 million in net inflows, while Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ took in $62.6 million, according to SoSoValue.
Together with inflows into Bitwise’s and Canary Capital’s XRP products, the category recorded $164.1 million in combined net inflows on Monday. Since going live earlier this month, dedicated XRP ETFs have already accumulated $586.8 million without a single day of outflows.
XRP Outshines Other Crypto ETF Categories
XRP outperformed other major ETF categories despite broader market volatility. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $151.1 million on Monday, while Ethereum ETFs pulled in $96.6 million and Solana funds collected $58 million.
XRP gained roughly 8.6 percent on the day and now trades around $2.20.
Institutional Momentum Builds
Franklin Templeton described XRP as a core asset for global settlement infrastructure, highlighting its efficiency and established user base. However, BlackRock remains absent from the XRP ETF race, focusing instead on its dominant Bitcoin and Ethereum products.
Grayscale also launched the first pure spot Dogecoin ETF on Monday. The fund generated no net flows on day one, but did see over $1.4 million in trading volume.
