ZKsync plans to prioritize real-world use cases in 2026
-
The roadmap focuses on privacy, control, risk management, and connectivity

Key products include Prividium, ZK Stack, and Airbender
ZKsync says 2026 will be the year it moves from foundational development to real-world scale, with a strong focus on institutional adoption.
Matter Labs CEO Alex Gluchowski outlined the network’s roadmap, emphasizing four core standards that all ZKsync products are expected to meet. These include privacy by default, deterministic control, verifiable risk management, and native connectivity to global markets.
A central part of the strategy is expanding Prividium, a privacy-focused blockchain platform designed for banks, asset managers, and enterprises. Prividium is built to integrate directly into existing workflows, covering areas such as access management, transaction approvals, reporting, auditing, and system integration.
ZK Stack, the project’s zero-knowledge development toolkit, will continue evolving into a simplified way to build application-specific blockchains with shared liquidity and services. Meanwhile, Airbender, ZKsync’s settlement proving engine, is positioned as a potential standard for zero-knowledge virtual machines.
Gluchowski said enterprise adoption has long been held back by missing infrastructure rather than lack of interest. With that foundation now in place, ZKsync expects regulated institutions and large enterprises to deploy production systems serving users at meaningful scale throughout 2026.
