Crypto Activity Resumes at Musk’s Aerospace Firm

For the first time in three years, SpaceX has moved part of its bitcoin holdings. According to Arkham Intelligence, the company transferred 1,308 BTC (worth about $150 million) to a new wallet on Tuesday. SpaceX had last moved bitcoin in 2022, when it routinely sent batches to Coinbase. The reason for this latest transaction was not disclosed.

After the move, SpaceX now holds 6,977 BTC, while Tesla retains 11,509 BTC — combined worth nearly $2.2 billion. These holdings, acquired at an average price of ~$32,000, are now up significantly amid the latest crypto bull run. The move coincides with broader institutional adoption, fueled by favorable U.S. policy shifts and the crypto-friendly tone of President Trump’s administration. Musk’s new “America Party” has also declared its support for Bitcoin.
