The upgrades enable 24/7 stablecoin-based trading and real-time settlement.

Major partners from global finance and crypto joined the Arc testnet.
Modernizing Foreign Exchange on Blockchain
Circle is extending its Arc Layer 1 ecosystem with a real-time FX engine that allows approved institutions to trade and settle stablecoin currency pairs onchain. The tool aims to replace traditional, delayed FX settlement cycles with atomic transactions that finalize instantly.
New Program for Regional Stablecoins
Through its Circle Partner Stablecoins program, the company is onboarding regional issuers like Avenia (BRLA) and Luno (ZARU) to expand liquidity beyond USD-based assets. All participants must meet strict reserve and compliance standards.
A Unified Global Liquidity Network
Circle said the updates turn Arc into a unified FX and settlement platform, connecting regional currencies through its StableFX engine and Circle Payments Network. Chief Product Officer Nikhil Chandhok said the goal is to “connect the world’s currencies on Arc.”
