Galaxy Enters Retail With Multi-Asset Platform
Galaxy Digital, led by Mike Novogratz, has launched GalaxyOne — a new app combining crypto, equities, and high-yield accounts. The platform allows users to buy and hold bitcoin, ether, Solana, and Paxos Gold, alongside over 2,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs with zero commission.
GalaxyOne also includes a 4% APY savings account for all users and an 8% APY Galaxy Premium Yield note for accredited investors, powered by Galaxy’s lending operations.
Bridging Institutional Infrastructure to Retail
Novogratz said the launch brings Galaxy’s institutional-grade systems to individual investors for the first time. The app’s roots trace back to Fierce, a fintech acquired by Galaxy in late 2024, whose technology now powers GalaxyOne.
With this move, Galaxy positions itself to compete directly with retail-focused players like Robinhood, eToro, and Cash App — but with an institutional-quality foundation.
