Interactive Brokers has introduced round-the-clock account funding using USDC, allowing clients to trade at any time without relying on traditional banking hours.

The brokerage said stablecoins offer a faster and cheaper alternative to wire transfers, especially for international clients. With USDC funding, users can transfer funds from their personal crypto wallets and begin trading within minutes, unlocking true 24/7 market access.

The integration is powered by Zerohash, a crypto and stablecoin infrastructure provider backed by Interactive Brokers. Users send USDC to a secure wallet generated by Zerohash on supported networks such as Ethereum, Solana, and Base. Once received, the stablecoins are automatically converted into U.S. dollars and credited to the brokerage account.

Zerohash charges a 0.30% conversion fee per deposit, with a minimum of $1, in addition to standard blockchain transaction fees. Interactive Brokers plans to expand its stablecoin support further, with Ripple’s RLUSD and PayPal’s PYUSD expected to be added as early as next week.

Founded in 1978, Interactive Brokers is known for its low-cost trading platform and broad market access. The firm entered crypto trading in 2021 and has steadily expanded its digital asset offering alongside traditional markets.
