The deal marks Polymarket’s second official acquisition.
Infrastructure for Event Markets
Polymarket acquired Dome, a startup that built a unified API layer for prediction markets.
Dome allows developers to build bots, dashboards, and trading tools that interact across platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket through a single integration.
The startup was part of Y Combinator’s Fall 2025 cohort and previously raised $500,000 from YC along with a $4.7 million seed round.
Strategic Expansion
Polymarket, last valued at $9 billion, has made relatively few acquisitions. Its earlier purchase of QCEX helped it reenter the U.S. market.
The Dome acquisition strengthens Polymarket’s developer ecosystem and positions it to capture more infrastructure value as political and macro event trading grows.
