Travala, a blockchain-based travel platform, has partnered with global travel marketplace Skyscanner to offer hotel bookings that can be paid for in over 100 cryptocurrencies.

Making Travel Easier with Crypto

Travala's inventory includes over 2.2 million hotels across 230 countries, and users can now book accommodations through Skyscanner using popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and BNB. Travala's integration makes it the first crypto-native platform available on Skyscanner, which boasts 110 million monthly users. The move allows Skyscanner users to see Travala listings alongside big names like Expedia and Booking.com. Travala CEO Juan Otero said this collaboration is crucial for increasing the visibility of crypto in everyday services like travel bookings, helping promote wider adoption.
