- Aave's Monad deployment exceeded $100 million in deposits.
- The milestone came within two days of launch.
- Monad committed major incentives to support adoption.
- Aave V4 also reached a new deposit milestone.
Aave's newly launched lending market on the Monad blockchain has surpassed $100 million in deposits just two days after going live, marking one of the fastest ecosystem launches for the protocol.
The deployment brings Aave V3, lending, borrowing, and the GHO stablecoin to Monad, with support for assets including USDC, WETH, cbBTC, and GHO.
Strong early growth has been supported by incentive programs, with the Monad Foundation committing $15 million in rewards over the first year and purchasing 10 million GHO to help bootstrap liquidity.
The milestone is significant given Monad's relatively young DeFi ecosystem, with the new Aave market attracting deposits equal to more than a quarter of the network's previous total value locked.
Separately, Aave's latest V4 protocol also crossed $250 million in deposits, reflecting continued demand as the lending platform expands across multiple blockchains.
