Ethereum Holdings Surge Past 2 Million
Ethereum treasury company BitMine Immersion announced Monday that its crypto and cash reserves have topped $10.8 billion. The company added about 82,000 ETH over the past week, bringing its total holdings to 2.15 million ETH valued at $9.75 billion.
In addition to ETH, BitMine also holds 192 BTC ($22M), a $214M stake in Worldcoin treasury firm Eightco, and nearly $570M in cash.
Position Among Treasury Giants
This latest milestone cements BitMine as the world’s largest Ethereum treasury, ahead of Joseph Lubin’s SharpLink (837K ETH) and The Ether Machine (495K ETH). Globally, it ranks just behind MicroStrategy, which holds 639K BTC ($73.5B).
Supported by top institutional investors like Ark Invest, Founders Fund, Pantera, Kraken, and Galaxy, BitMine is aggressively pursuing its goal of holding 5% of ETH’s total supply — around 6 million coins.
Chairman’s Long-Term View
Chairman Tom Lee said the push reflects his belief in Ethereum’s role in the next decade of finance. “Wall Street’s move onto the blockchain, combined with AI creating a token-driven economy, is creating a supercycle for Ethereum,” he explained. “We see Ethereum as one of the most important macro trades for the next 10–15 years.”
BitMine stock (BMNR) is now one of the 30 most actively traded equities in the U.S., averaging $2B in daily turnover. Shares are up 572% this year, closing last week at $55.09.
