Bybit, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has announced its exit from the French market due to increasing regulatory pressures and licensing requirements. The decision follows a warning from the French financial regulator, Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), which stated that Bybit was operating without proper registration. Effective August 2, French users will be restricted to "Close-Only" mode, preventing them from opening new positions or making deposits. By August 13, all remaining open positions will be liquidated.
