Legal Push Against Unofficial Wallet
World Liberty Financial has issued a cease-and-desist letter to Fight Fight Fight and Magic Eden for launching a crypto wallet branded with Donald Trump’s name without authorization. Trump’s sons said the Trump Organization has no involvement in the project.
The firms had promoted the product via a verified social media account, which has since been deleted.
Trump Family Distances Itself
Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Barron Trump each posted statements clarifying that World Liberty is the official entity overseeing the Trump family’s crypto ventures. An official Trump wallet is reportedly in development under World Liberty.
Background on TRUMP Token
Fight Fight Fight previously helped launch the TRUMP memecoin, which has generated over $300 million in fees. The token is linked to multiple Trump-affiliated entities, but the former president has expressed limited interest, mainly commenting on its price fluctuations.
World Liberty, meanwhile, continues to build its crypto ecosystem, including the USD1 stablecoin and a treasury filled with WBTC, ETH, and more.
